LPS 1175

A core component of Davison Fencing’s quality framework is its use of products and installations accredited to recognised security standards. In particular, we work with LPS 1175 certified systems and Secured by Design solutions for clients requiring enhanced protection.

LPS 1175 (Loss Prevention Standard 1175) is one of the most widely referenced security benchmarks for physical perimeter protection products in the UK. Administered by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), this standard involves rigorous testing of fencing and gates to demonstrate resistance to forced entry using defined tool sets and attack durations. Products are awarded a Security Rating (SR) based on their performance, helping clients choose systems appropriate to their risk profile—ranging from lower-level deterrence to high-security sites such as critical infrastructure, utilities, or custody environments.

Constructionline Gold

Holding Constructionline Gold membership demonstrates our compliance with the industry’s rigorous Common Assessment Standard. This advanced level of accreditation goes beyond standard Health & Safety checks to validate our systems across Environmental Management, Quality Management, Equality and Diversity, and Modern Slavery compliance. For our clients, this offers a pre-qualified guarantee of our competence and governance, significantly reducing supply chain risk and streamlining the procurement process for complex projects.

Secured by Design (SBD)

is the official police security initiative in the UK that works to improve the security of buildings and their immediate surroundings to provide safe places to live, work, shop, and visit.

While standards like PAS 24 are technical tests that a product must pass, Secured by Design is an accreditation scheme run by the police. It acts as a “quality mark” that signifies a product or a development has met rigorous police standards for security.

SSIP Accredited

Davison Fencing holds SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) accreditation through Constructionline, demonstrating our compliance with recognised Health & Safety standards across the construction industry. This accreditation confirms that our systems, policies and working practices meet strict requirements for risk management, site safety and workforce competence.
