Connor often takes the lead on projects requiring machinery. He combines technical skill with clear communication and careful planning to keep complex installations running smoothly.

Supervisor

Tom has been a key member of Davison Fencing for over 20 years, bringing extensive hands-on experience across a wide range of fencing systems, including timber fencing, timber hoarding, and perimeter fencing. He thrives on the variety of projects and client requirements, ensuring each job is completed to the highest standard. 

Known for his reliability and strong communication skills, Tom works closely with clients and colleagues alike, maintaining professionalism while getting the job done efficiently and effectively. 

Chris describes Tom as “a superb communicator, respected by clients, and a valuable member of the team – gets things done, Tom’s way.”

Allen Cochrane

Supervisor

Allen brings over 25 years of experience in the commercial and industrial fencing industry and has been a valued part of the Davison Fencing team for most of that time. His background also includes valuable experience as a site manager for a major construction company, giving him a well-rounded understanding of how projects operate from start to finish.  

Known for his practical mindset and eye for detail, Allen is a natural problem solver who approaches every challenge with a positive attitude. Approachable and honest, he works closely with both clients and colleagues to find effective solutions and ensure every job is completed to the highest standard.  

Chris describes Allen as “a tough, strong-willed and reliable team member – someone who finds his own way to get the job done and can tackle any challenge. A man’s man – solid.”

Lee Williams

Supervisor

Lee brings over 25 years of experience in the bespoke fencing industry and is known for his precision, consistency, and hands-on expertise. He takes pride in delivering work of the highest quality and is particularly skilled in managing specialist and technically demanding installations. 

Calm and methodical in his approach, Lee is trusted to handle complex projects where attention to detail matters most. His strong work ethic and commitment to excellence have earned him a reputation as a true perfectionist within the team. 

Chris describes Lee as, “a special talent, natural introvert but utterly capable. Just doesn’t shout about it. Give it to Lee — never rushed, no corners cut, but always a great product. Always polite, always conscientious.”

Nigel is one of the most experienced members of the Davison Fencing team, bringing a lifetime of hands-on knowledge and expertise to every project. A true fencing professional, his dedication, reliability, and work ethic have earned him a reputation as one of the best in the industry. 

With decades of experience across all types of installations, Nigel is known for his commitment to quality and his willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done. His calm, dependable natures make him a steady presence on site and a trusted mentor to others in the team. 

In Chris’s words “He’s our rock – will do anything for anyone and asks nothing in return. His life has been fencing. Enough said.”

Supervisor

Dirk joined Davison Fencing in 1999 and brings more than two decades of experience to his role as Supervisor. Known for his versatility and technical skill, he has worked across a wide range of fencing systems and specialises in complex and high-security installations. 

With a practical, hands-on approach, Dirk is often the go-to person for challenging or unusual projects, applying his deep technical knowledge to find effective solutions. His attention to detail and problem-solving mindset ensures every installation meets the company’s high standards and delivers exactly what the client needs.  

Chris describes Dirk as “quiet, but thoughtful, intelligent and extremely talented. Don’t be fooled by the quiet demeanour – there’s a huge amount in this guy’s brain.”

Don joined Davison Fencing in 2005, developing from a labourer with basic skills into a highly competent Supervisor. He works closely with the operations and management teams to ensure every project is delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

With great energy, determination, and a fast-paced approach, Don takes pride in planning and executing work effectively while maintaining clear communication with clients and colleagues. His proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset make him a respected and reliable member of the team.

Chris describes Don as “an infectious energy and well-respected member of our team. A superb communicator who always gets work done safely and combines old-school graft with a modern outlook.”

Supervisor

Joel joined Davison Fencing in 2002, bringing a strong work ethic from his farming background. Through years of dedication and hands-on experience, he has become a skilled Supervisor, overseeing projects with care and expertise. He has extensive experience managing complex housing sites and ensuring they are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Known for his commitment, reliability, and leadership on site, Joel ensures projects run smoothly and to the highest standards. He is highly regarded for his ability to collaborate and lead teams effectively, motivating those around him to deliver their best work.

Chris describes Joel as “very much a chip off the block. Wants to succeed, willing to push himself all the way, and never gives any less than 100%. Team player and natural captain.”

With a practical mindset and attention to detail, Richard focuses on keeping projects running smoothly to the highest standards the company is known for. His reliability and proactive approach make him a trusted part of the operations team.

Accounts & Administration

Ruby joined Davison Fencing in January 2025 and works closely with Olive, supporting the accounts and administration team. She assists with sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll, and a range of administrative processes, helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Her drive and enthusiasm bring great energy to the team. Ruby approaches every task with focus and initiative, always looking for ways to improve systems and keep things running seamlessly.

Olive plays a vital role in the smooth running of Davison fencing, managing the accounts and administration that keep the business operating efficiently day to day. Working largely behind the scenes, she handles the details that few see but everyone relies on.

With her organised and methodical approach, Olive keeps projects and processes on track, supporting the team and maintaining the high standards the company is known for. As part of the Davison family, she takes pride in upholding the company’s core values of reliability, quality, and honesty.

Known for his calm, solution-focused approach, Darren ensures challenges are resolved quickly and effectively. He works closely with clients to build lasting relationships and takes pride in delivering reliable results every time.
