About the Project

Davison Fencing were appointed by T Vaughan Ltd to deliver a comprehensive fencing and access package as part of the major redevelopment of the former Skelton Grange Power Station in Leeds.

The works formed part of a wider enabling and infrastructure programme, which included a large-scale excavation, dewatering, and foundation construction across this technically complex brownfield site.

  • Supply and installation of automated single and double swing gates complete with CAME control systems, photocells, safety loops, and flashing beacons.
  • Installation of manual pedestrian gates and integration of UPS systems to enable gate operation during mains power failure.
  • Coordination with T Vaughan’s M& E and civils teams for power, ducting, and foundation preparation.

Timber Fencing & Field Boundaries:

  • Installation of Tanalith E-treated softwood post-and-rail fencing to compound areas and site boundaries.

Client Feedback

Keir

“We worked with Davison Fencing on multiple phases of this project, requiring various types of fencing and gates. The whole process was smooth throughout, with great communication from Steen and the team. All works were completed to a high standard and fully compliant with the strict Health & Safety requirements of a Tier 1 site. I would not hesitate to use Davison Fencing again for any future fencing requirements and wholeheartedly recommend them.

“It’s genuinely been a pleasure working with Davison Fencing over the last two to three years on this project. Their approach has been refreshing, especially given the number of design and programme changes along the way. We’ve had zero complaints about the site team despite very demanding H&S standards — a testament to their professionalism. It’s just a shame they don’t cover nationwide!”
