Opened in April 2016, as a new build, Sheffield Custody Suite is a custom 50 cell custody suite with associated charge, interview and ancillary accommodation for other forces estate teams.

Designed and procured through the Scape Group’s Major Works framework, the £14 Million project was completed on time and on budget by Willmott Dixon. Since completion of the scheme, It has become widely recognised as a model for future custody suites in terms of compliance, sustainability, design and procurement.

Two years on from its opening, CLD Fencing Systems revisited the project to see how its unique Privacy Security Fencing has stood the rigours of day to day life in South Yorkshire’s busiest custody suite.
